Summer Showcase for Doctoral Researchers

About this event

This year’s Summer Showcase for doctoral researchers will take place on Friday 20 June 2025 at West Park Teaching Hub.

This event, organised by Enhanced Academic Practice (Organisational Development) on behalf of the Doctoral College, brings together doctoral researchers from across »ªÌåÓý to share their work and connect in a vibrant and supportive environment.

In addition to the University’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Grand Final, doctoral researchers from all Schools are encouraged to take part in a variety of showcase opportunities, including:

  • Poster Exhibition
  • Images of Research Exhibition
  • Interactive Exhibition
  • No Bell Prize
  • Rapid Research Relay
  • Research Vlogs

There are lots of prizes up for grabs, but more than that, the Summer Showcase provides a fantastic development opportunity for doctoral researchers to network, enhance their presentation skills, articulate research clearly and succinctly to diverse audiences, gain exposure, and receive recognition for innovative work.

Call of interest closing date to take part in most activities is Monday 26 May, 11:45pm. Please visit the dedicated event webpages for more information.

Bookings for doctoral researchers and staff to attend will open at the start of June, with priority places given to those selected to present their work.
